Homemade Scones
Ingredients
3 1/2 cups flour 1/2 tsp Baking soda 1 T baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 3/4 cup sugar 1 cup cold butter, cut into 1" chunks 3/4 cup heavy cream 3/4 cup buttermilk 1 cup of fruit |
Put all dry ingredients together in mixer bowl with paddle attachment.
Beat on low to combine. Add butter, beat on low for 4 minutes. Add liquid, beat until just blended. Add fruit. Shape into tennis ball size (2 1/4) scones. Cook at 375 degrees for 17-18 min or until golden brown. |

Grandmas Drop Cake
Ingredients
6 cups fruit 1 cup sugar 1 package 3oz berry Jello 1 cup water 1 package of cake mix, white or yellow 1 cube butter, melted |
Sprinkle each ingredient, in order, layered evenly in a cake pan.
DO NOT MIX Cook at 350 degrees for 45min to an hour Serve scooped out over vanilla ice cream! |
